Big Buzz Fun Park

A 25-acre family entertainment park just outside Forster with waterslides, mini golf, laser tag, go-karts and playgrounds. A long-running local favourite for a full day out with kids.

Tuncurry Rock Pool

A natural rock pool on the Tuncurry side of the channel, loved by families for its calm, clear water and lake-meets-ocean setting. It's unpatrolled, so swimmers should watch for tidal surges, but the white... sand and nearby cafes make it a favourite spot to cool off.

Cape Hawke Lookout

An 8.4-metre lookout tower at the northern tip of Booti Booti National Park, reached via a 500m walk through regenerating littoral rainforest. The climb rewards visitors with 360-degree views over Forster,... Wallis Lake and the coast, and it's a reliable vantage point for winter whale watching.

Booti Booti National Park

An 8km coastal peninsula park wedged between the Pacific Ocean and Wallis Lake, just south of Forster. Expect white-sand beaches, walking tracks, pockets of rainforest and strong birdwatching, with whales... visible offshore during the May-November migration.

One Mile Beach

A relaxed residential beach on Forster's northern edge, popular with families and surfers. A grassed foreshore reserve behind the sand has barbecues, picnic tables and a playground, while the northern... end climbs to Bennetts Head Lookout. Dolphins are regularly spotted cruising just offshore.
